Garrett Eder
Garrett Eder is a proud, lifelong North Carolinian who teaches 8th-grade Social Studies at Granville Central Middle School in the small town of Stem. He loves to create a classroom where history feels alive, guiding his students through hands-on projects and the diverse perspectives of those who lived it. Driven by the belief that the past is best understood through experience, he uses immersive simulations to help his students build a genuine connection to history. As a Learning Happens Here Teacher Ambassador, Garrett is excited to explore our state's historical sites and share North Carolina's rich natural and cultural diversity with his classroom. When he isn’t at school, he is usually found exploring local parks and playing outdoors with his two young children.
