Social Studies Teacher, Iredell Charter Academy

Danielle Warren is the 4th Grade Social Studies Teacher at Iredell Charter Academy of Arts & Science in Troutman, North Carolina. This is her tenth year in the classroom and her fourth year in a 4th grade classroom. She has created a project-based classroom rooted in research, backing up your claims with evidence, and observing history through multiple perspectives. She is beyond excited to take a deeper dive into North Carolina's history and culture. She's especially excited to learn more about our State Parks and how she can encourage her students to visit them as well. Danielle is married to her high school sweetheart, Mack, and is a mom to Ella, Abraham, and Alice. She is a fierce advocate for congenital heart defect research as her youngest daughter lost her fight with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome.
