Group Visits to the Capital

Remember to complete this form with the contact information for the person who will be present on the trip. Be advised that guided tour availability for March and April is nearing capacity. Groups of more than 20 people will need to choose alternate months. To make corrections to your submission, please contact our office at capitalarea.visitorservices@dncr.nc.gov . Submitting duplicate requests increases the processing time for your reservation.

Important: The designated locations for group lunches have changed. Groups should now eat at either Lunch Site 1 at 306 N. Wilmington St or Lunch Site 2 at the northeast corner of 109 E. Jones St. Consider bringing wagons or rolling coolers to help transport your items. All lunch areas are outdoors, please plan accordingly.

Lunch Site 1 will have picnic tables and trash receptacles available.

Lunch Site 2 is an open grassy area, so we recommend bringing blankets and enjoying your lunch picnic-style on the ground.

Kindly be aware that March, April, and May are in high demand for touring our sites, with many patrons requesting bookings six to eight months ahead. We kindly ask you to provide several alternative dates to accommodate scheduling.

By entering a time, you are stating you understand and agree that students must be escorted by adult chaperones at all times when dropping off or retrieving lunch items. You also are stating that you understand that the museum will not be responsible for any theft or damage to lunch or any other items stored in this area.
